Though Chris Douros currently lives in New York City, he has spent 6.5 years living in Tokyo, Japan. He is bilingual in English / Japanese. He has appeared in TV, film, commericial, and commericial print in both countries.

 
Chris had a leading role in the award winning comedy feature called The Video Guys. For his portrayal of the character Sam, he received nomination and was runner up for best supporting actor nomination at The Long Island International Film Expo.
 
In 2008 he was the lead in a 13-episode mini-series called New Yorker-no-Kaiwajutsu. It was shot in New York and aired in Japan for 13 weeks on the NHK network. It is scheduled for re-broadcast in the summer of 2009.
 
In addition to acting, Chris also enjoys writing and is currently working on a screenplay.

 

Chris receives a nomination and was runner up for Best Supporting Actor at the 2009 Long Island International Film Expo for his role  in The Video Guys. He was nominated from a pool of over 170 festival films.
